Nukkad natak
2019-07-15
Reflecting on the current scenario of the world, few students of MET IOP enacted a skit based on the topic ‘Child Labour’ which was held in the college campus. Lack of security, hunger and poverty are the fundamental drivers of child labour. The performers demonstrated reasons leading to such situations some of them being; owners who treat children as slaves and separate them from their family; parents who forcefully send their children to work in order to meet the necessity; access to compulsory, free education is limited. Child labour keeps a child away from childhood, a happy and memorable phase in life. It interferes with regular school attendance which makes them socially dangerous. We appreciate the efforts taken by the students for participating in this social awareness event.
