At MET Institute of Mass Media, we believe in ‘learning by doing’, where practical learning takes the lead over theory. The classrooms become a laboratory for problem-solving, creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork. Through interactive sessions, case studies, masterclasses, seminars, and strategic learning initiatives, the students acquire knowledge and abilities that they may use right away in the workplace.

Institute’s initiative, ‘MET Media Collective’ - Mumbai,s first student-led campus media agency, is at the heart of this experience. Here, the students collaborate on real-time client briefs, cross-specialisation campaigns, and industry initiatives in the fields of Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Entertainment and NextGen Media & AI. Here, we're bringing industry to the classroom. With the help of this immersive platform, students can create campaigns, organise events, create content, analyse statistics, and create portfolios that show their influence, creativity, and strategy. Access to insider viewpoints and mentorship from prominent members of the field guarantees a comprehensive education that blends real-world experience with moral guidance, character development, and life lessons.

At MET IMM, we are reinventing media education through a blend of portfolio-driven projects, experiential learning, and strategic initiatives that equip students to succeed in a constantly changing business. Every campaign, workshop, and initiative aims to cultivate curiosity, resilience, confidence, and a sincere love of learning in addition to skill development.

The institute’s goal is to close the knowledge gap between academia and business by turning vision into action, ambition into significant success, and curiosity into capability. Our PGP MCMM students are prepared to lead, innovate, and influence the media industry's future in addition to being prepared to enter it through practical projects, strategic initiatives, and portfolio-building opportunities.

We welcome students to join PGP in Mass Communication & Media Management (PGP MCMM) at MET Institute of Mass Media, if you're excited to transform the concepts into immersive experiences, education into leadership, and innovation into impact. Here, they will encounter the excitement of hands- on learning, the challenge of strategic thinking, and the delight of realising their own potential. Getting you ready to become a media professional who not only follows but also creates trends and produces work that makes an impact.

Welcome to the media's future. Welcome to MET IMM.

MET Institute of Mass Media

“Every great dream begins with a dreamer.”
- Harriet Tubman

The world we live in today has already surpassed the expectations and imaginations of the people living just five decades ago. There is such a tremendous power now to communicate with the masses just in a fraction of a second. According to various data published, India is likely to have 900 million internet users in 2025 (IAMAI-Kantar ICUBE 2020 report). With about 96% using the internet for entertainment, 90% for communication, 82% for social media and 45% for some kind of online transactions. All this points to the fact that India is poised for further rapid growth in the field of Mass Media. Newer formats like OTT, internet on the go and live streaming have already changed the landscape of communication and entertainment which will further witness transformation and innovation.

Needless to state that with this projected growth, the media sector requires trained media professionals. Therefore in order to cater to this tremendous growth, media education also requires an approach which is more practical than just being theory based. This is where MET Institute of Mass Media bridges the gap to empower the dreamers who are willing to dream big. MET presents an entirely different perspective to media teaching and learning, offering a solid 360 degrees, hands-on approach with intensive classroom sessions, exhaustive practical exercises and live projects guided by industry mentors.

The post graduate programmes in Advertising, Entertainment, Journalism & Public Relations and Digital Marketing at MET Institute of Mass Media are structured to lay a solid foundation on which you can build an ambitious, rewarding and satisfying media career in the communications industry.

Wishing you all the best to attain your dream career and fulfil your passion.
