The last two years have been full of anxiety, uncertainty, and ambiguity. We all have faced stress and pressures as never before. Work culture and the education system have both seen a tectonic shift globally. The demand for innovative, competent, and contemporary management practices has never been so critical as today. When the world seemed to have come to a sudden pause due to the pandemic and analysts were still trying to fathom its impact; there were others who had the confidence that gave the power to face the challenges. They said, “Don’t ever quit... something new is always waiting for you”.
Thankfully, technology came to our rescue. Be it business, education or governance it has seen continued sustainability with technology-enabled platforms and innovative mindsets. It has been a challenge for all educationists to adapt and adopt the new norm of the online system of education. We all realized that change is the only constant in life. So despite the pandemic, structured learning systems blended with the latest tools and technologies were offered with academic and scholastic rigor that focused on developing industry-ready professionals. And as Gary W. Goldstein said, “All you can change is yourself, but sometimes that changes everything”.
Instances of turning the game around in your favor are many when all seems lost. We have seen players do the impossible through sheer grit. Similarly in life, patience, perseverance, and confidence in your ability play an important role to ensure that you come out successful from a difficult situation. Undeterred by the global pandemic, we redesigned the digital learning system and conducted online lecture sessions, training, exams, several webinars that include the virtual platforms for an International webinar ‘Live from Washington’ and an International Conference on ‘Dynamic Positioning Management and Tectonic shift”. Currently teaching is done online, but we are quite optimistic that soon times will change, government restrictions will be lifted and we shall get into the hybrid style of teaching-learning process that is here to stay.
We at MET do boast of our state of the art infrastructure and unparalleled facilities offered to students. We have adopted world-class teaching standards and our e-empowered MBA may be rated equivalent to any other two years management program. We have carefully selected highly qualified professionals to impart knowledge and our curriculum goes beyond the syllabus of bookish knowledge imparted within the four walls of a classroom. Our visiting faculties represent the world of professionals who bring with them their rich experiences and expertise. We frequently invite corporate guests and alumni to conduct talks, lecture sessions, and workshops that enrich our students with the contemporary practices in the industry.
We encourage participation in competitions, celebrations, and visits to industries. Currently, we face limitations for outdoor group activities but hopefully as has been our practice in the past we look forward to conducting our outdoor trips, excursions, outbound management training, and visit the industries too. We continuously look forward to building competencies and sharpening the skills not only academically but for all-around development. This is why we have also introduced subjects like Life Management Skills, Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility. We train our students with the latest IT techniques and take them through the Basics to Advanced Excel. We hold workshops on soft skills, e-etiquette, business etiquette, and leadership management to endow them with a wholesome and holistic development.
Data analytics as a specialized activity to make informed and rational decisions through algorithms in business has assumed great importance today. Therefore we have now introduced specialization in Business Analytics with our PGP-SBA course. The course aims to enhance a participant’s ability to think critically and strategically in seeking solutions to complex problems within a VUCA environment. Advancements in machine learning, artificial intelligence, 5g, Virtual /augmented reality are expected to play a bigger role in almost all industries like Banking and Financial services Industries (BSFI), Consumer products, Healthcare, education, telecom, travel and tourism. Jobs pertaining to data analytics have greater relevance now and our students shall have the edge as industry-ready and more employable.

Master of Management Studies (MMS)
Two-year, full-time, post-graduate programme affiliated to the University of Mumbai and Approved by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) & All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
Programme Objective
The Master of Management Studies is a comprehensive Post Graduate Degree programme that aims to develop students into sharp and successful managers. The MMS is a two-year full time degree programme affiliated to the Mumbai University.
MET students undergo case studies, live-projects, role-play, paper presentations, discussions, brain storming exercises etc. to sharpen the area between their ears. The programme results in excellent placement opportunities.
Eligibility
Graduate with minimum 50% of marks in the aggregate (45% for Reserved Category). Students appearing for Final year can also apply.
Post Graduate Diploma in Management - PGDM. AICTE Approved.
Professional Management Education program (known as PGDM) to provide professionals to meet the needs of Indian Industry were initiated in the 1960s at Indian Institutes of Management and later by other Universities. PGDM at MET draws its strength and character from this iconic lineage of MBA program interwoven with new age technological inputs to empower professionals with know-how in today’s digital business framework, justifying the program name.
Eligibility
Passed with minimum of 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in aggregate in any Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration (in any discipline) from an university recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.
Ph. D. in Management Studies
MET Institute of Management has launched the Ph. D. Program in Management which is a post-master's programme affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Under the guidance of approved research guides of the University of Mumbai, eligible students are registered for conducting the research work in different areas in Management and on submission and approval of the Ph. D. Thesis as per the university guidelines Doctoral Degree in Management is awarded.

- An Indian, having passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually
- Should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain a non zero score in MHT-CET 2025 Pharmacy (Maharashtra candidate) or Non zero positive score in NEET-2025 (All India candidate)
Diploma in Pharmacy (D Pharm)
Two-year full-time Diploma programme in Pharmacy recognised by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE).
Programme Objective
A programme specifically designed to create professionals who will make a mark in the pharmaceutical industry. On completion of the programme the students can get registration as pharmacist and can run their own medical shops.

- The Candidate should be an Indian national.
- Passed HSC Science with Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects: Mathematics or Biology (Botany and Zoology) from a recognised institution in Maharashtra State or Outside Maharashtra State.
Diploma in Advanced Computer Arts (DACA)
About DACA
The advent of multimedia has had a profound impact on various media services such as advertising, film production, etc. In the present scenario, commercial artists who are familiar with computing technology have a wide range of opportunities in these market segments. DACA Course at MET gives these aspiring artists the technical 'know-how' to succeed in the industry as Digital Artists.
Eligibility
10+2, M.F.A., B.F.A., B.Arch, G.D. Arts, Engineering, Science, Arts and Commerce stream or other equivalent degree or diploma holders in the field of Advertising, Commercial Arts, Painting, Sculpture, Textile, Fashion Designing, Interior Decoration.
Students from other academic backgrounds having artistic inclination and creative abilities are also encouraged to opt for this course. All they have to do is to qualify through the Entrance Test. Applicants need to have basic knowledge of using computers.

Dr. Sangeeta Tandon
Professor
She holds a Ph.D. in Management, has two post-graduate degrees in Economics and also a B. Ed. from University of Mumbai, to her credit.
She has authored two textbooks in Economics and one in Environmental Management for post graduate students. With a flair for writing, she has presented and published several research papers in National Conferences and management research journals as well as written for many magazines. She has received the ‘Best Paper Award’ trophy at the National Conference on Managerial Excellence in the 21st Century sponsored by Pune University.
She is known in management circles for her skills at conducting workshops and imparting training to students and corporates. She has spearheaded MET’s China Study Mission for three consecutive years. She has organized several alumni meets and also one in Dubai. For over two decades, she has organized many seminars, conventions and ‘mega’ cultural events like MET Utsav and coordinated prestigious events for corporates like the All India Management Association’s National Competition for Young Managers and National Management Quiz.
At the professional front, four times she has been the recipient of the MET Pragnyavant Award for contribution to Management Research, she is the winner of MET Gaurav Award for Academic Excellence and has also been honoured with the MET Bhushan Award for her integrity and selfless service to her institution for more than 22 years.
Prof. Arun Patil
Assistant Professor
He has over 37 years’ experience in life insurance industry. He joined LIC as a Direct Recruit Officer and worked in various departments such as Sales, Marketing, Publicity, Housing, Branch and Division administration all across the country, including foreign deputation to Fiji Islands for five years. He also informally handled diplomatic functions there in absence of Indian High Commission. He worked as Senior Vice President in ICICI Prudential and Kotak Life Insurance companies.
Widely travelled all over the country and the world, Mr. Patil has published about 200 articles and has authored seven books.
He conducts Seminars and Work-shops on topics such as “Joy of Work”, “Emotional Intelligence”, “Marketing Strategies”, “Work-Life balance”, “Cultural Integration” etc.
Mr. Sunny Mondal
Assistant Professor
Mr. Sunny Mondal possesses over 8 years of teaching experience in the field of finance and management. He has taught a wide range of subjects including Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Services, and Financial Markets, among others.
He hold various degrees such as PGDM (Finance), MMS (Finance), L.L.B, M.Com, M.A. Economics, M.Com (Finance), B.A.F.
He has also worked in Investment Banking and Hedge Funds for 2 years.
Known for his student-centric approach and practical teaching style, Mr. Mondal emphasizes conceptual clarity and real-world applications in finance. His academic journey reflects a strong dedication to nurturing analytical thinking, professional ethics, and holistic development among management students."
Ms. Mitali Sankhe
Assistant Professor
With over 5 years of academic experience and 4 years of corporate exposure. An alumna of Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics (B.Com) and Welingkar Institute of Management ,Development and Research (MBA – Retail Marketing & HR), she also holds an M.Com (Advanced Accounting), B.Ed, and has cleared UGC NET (Management & Commerce) and UGC SET (Commerce).
She has published 15 research papers and holds 1 patent, combining strong academic credentials with professional experience at Manipal Cigna, Estée Lauder, Capgemini, DXC Technology, Dravya Financial, and HDFC Life."
