Diploma in Advanced Computer Arts (DACA)
About DACA
The advent of multimedia has had a profound impact on various media services such as advertising, film production, etc. In the present scenario, commercial artists who are familiar with computing technology have a wide range of opportunities in these market segments. DACA Course at MET gives these aspiring artists the technical 'know-how' to succeed in the industry as Digital Artists.
Eligibility
10+2, M.F.A., B.F.A., B.Arch, G.D. Arts, Engineering, Science, Arts and Commerce stream or other equivalent degree or diploma holders in the field of Advertising, Commercial Arts, Painting, Sculpture, Textile, Fashion Designing, Interior Decoration.
Students from other academic backgrounds having artistic inclination and creative abilities are also encouraged to opt for this course. All they have to do is to qualify through the Entrance Test. Applicants need to have basic knowledge of using computers.
Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing (PG-DAC)
About PG-DAC:
Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing (PG-DAC) is the flagship programme of C-DAC ACTS which focuses on engineers and IT professionals who wish to venture into the domain of advanced computing. It aims at enabling students to work on current technology scenarios and prepare them to keep pace with the dynamic IT industry. Running successfully since 1997 at MET, PG-DAC course is unique to surpass the wide requirement-spectrum of ICT industry. Thousands of MET alumni are occupying pleasant corporate positions.
Eligibility
- Graduate in Engineering or equivalent (e.g. BE / BTech / 4-year BSc / AMIE / DoEACC B Level, etc.) in Electronics/ Computer Science/ IT or related areas.
OR - Post Graduate in Engineering Sciences (e.g. MSc in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, etc.).
OR - Graduate in any discipline of Engineering or equivalent,
OR - MCA/MCM.
OR - Post Graduate in Physics/ Computational Sciences/ Mathematics or allied areas.
OR - Post Graduate in Management with graduation degree in Science/ IT/ Computers.
- The candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying examination.

Mr. Nilesh Shirke, an Engineering Graduate & MBA from Mumbai University, CDACs PG-DAC pass out, has been associated with MET, Mumbai as a CDAC Course Coordinator. His expertise in C++, Oracle, MYSQL & Web Technologies has contributed enormously in building the IT aspirants morale.
Mr. Nitin J. Patil
Assistant Professor
Mr Nitin Patil has 21 Years of Industry Experience (14yrs Training and 7yrs of Interior Designer and is an all rounding Corporate Trainer, Consulting Interior Designer, and Freelance Graphic Designer with Previous experience as a Miniature Model for Ad and TV serials.
