The PG in Mass Media students at MET Institute of Mass Media were ablaze with energy as they joined forces to realise their vision for an ad film shoot. From brainstorming compelling scripts to refining every frame with precise art direction, each phase bore witness to their ardour and commitment. Come behind the camera with us as they scripted, shot, and brought their ideas to life, sculpting moments designed to captivate and inspire.

Our talented students from PG in Mass Media at MET Institute of Mass Media, embarked on a journey to capture the essence of their surroundings. From framing the perfect shot to adjusting lighting just right, each click of the shutter revealed a story waiting to be told. With creativity as their guide and passion as their fuel, our student photographers brought moments to life, freezing time in a single frame.

Shining bright on stage at Krazy Kidz Carnival!

Prof. Ujjwal Chowdhury, Director, MET Institute of Mass Media, has been Awarded by World Book of Records, London for his contribution in social change through education. The award ceremony was held in Cairo, Egypt on 19th February 2024.

MET Institute of Mass Media invited Radio Guru, Mr. Gaurav Sharma for interaction with ADMM students.

Mr. Sharma discussed \'Radio\' as a medium of communication. While sharing his professional journey he discussed many opportunities for students in the world of radio.

As part of the ongoing Alumni Mentorship Series 2023, MET Institute of Mass Media welcomed Ms. Richa Vaidya, Marketing Manager, Digital Ventures (VOOT Select), Viacom 18 Media Pvt. Ltd. (Alumni M8 Batch) to conduct a session on ‘Film Marketing in the Digital Series’.

During the interaction with the M18 batch students she discussed the marketing strategies of the recent film, Pathaam. She explained elements of character promos, trailer launch, music launch and radio promotions. She also spoke about differentiation between hindi and regional film trailers. Richa explained the context of the collaboration with ticketing partners like bookmyshow and multiplex partners - cineplex.

MET Institute of Mass Media organised an Alumni Reunion on Saturday, 4th February 2023. The event was held in the presence of Mr. Sanjay Sakharkar, Director, MET IMM, Dignitaries, faculty members & students.

The Reunion featured an awesome Entertainment Show comprising solo singing as well as a skit performance by current students of ADMM. During the gathering event, alumni shared what led them to their chosen career paths, lessons learned and also advised the current media students.

The highlight of the event was the ‘MET IMM Alumni Awards 2023’ bestowed upon alumni for their exemplary and outstanding contributions to the industry. The Winners were quite nostalgic and excited at the same time while receiving the awards and expressed their immense gratitude to MET for helping them shape their Media career paths.

It was an amazing evening of recognising the achievements and getting nostalgic for all the alumni.

Ms. Priyanka Surve, Partner & Creative Head, Motley Advertising (ADMM M5 Batch) was felicitated with Excellence in Contribution to Alma Mater Award 2023. Congratulations to all the winners. As a part of the Campus to Corporate Series, the media postgraduate students enrolled in the ADMM program at MET Institute of Mass Media recently participated in their Summer Internship Program, titled \'Viva - Voce.\'

A distinguished panel of evaluators included esteemed professionals such as Ms. Sheetal Pawar, HR Manager at HGS Digital; Ms. Manali Ghanekar, HR Professional at Endemol Shine India; Ms. Uma Waldia, Associate HR at TBWA\\ INDIA; and Ms. Jiel Narvekar, HR Business Partner at Keva - Fragrances, Large Corporate & Global Accounts.

During the evaluation, the panelists generously shared invaluable insights to guide these budding professionals in their forthcoming career journeys.

As a part of the Induction Programme of ADMM Batch M19, MET Institute of Mass Media welcomed Mr. Mayuresh Ganpataye, News Editor, Network 18 as a guest speaker.

During the interactive session, Mr. Mayuresh delved into the intricate workings of journalism as a noble profession and illuminated the myriad opportunities it holds. He underscored the paramount importance of avid reading and staying well-informed, emphasizing that these are the cornerstones for achieving success in the realm of journalism.
