Placements
At MET Institute of Mass Media, placements aren't one-time event; they are result of a holistic
journey starting from the very first day of the programme. The placement department therefore
looks at all-round development for the students for the ever-changing world of media and
communication. A balanced mix of academic learning, industry exposure, live projects, and
mentoring enables students to develop the required skill sets and build confidence, along with
professional acumen, to successfully compete for roles in Advertising & PR, Digital Marketing,
Entertainment and Journalism.
The Institute’s industry partnerships, summer internship opportunities, and pre-placement
training make sure that the students are not only job-ready but future-ready to master the
mediaverse. With a focus on technical and soft skills development for growth, MET Institute of
Mass Media strives to convert passionate media learners into professionals capable of thriving
in a fast-evolving media ecosystem.
The placement process for Batch 2023 – 24 has been audited by Infomerics Analytics & Research, reinforcing our
commitment to transparency, credibility, and excellence. The highest package offered stood at Rs 8 LPA, reflecting the
industry’s recognition of our talent pool and training ecosystem.

This third-party audit reinforces the credibility of our placement records and ensures that every opportunity facilitated through MET is both verified and validated. Industry Orientation
Students are exposed to live projects at varying levels across the academic tenure. They also undergo an evaluated internship with an organization, wherein functionalities learnt in the classroom are applied to real life business projects. Internship enriches the students' understanding of the uncertainties and business pressures of the communication industry and the craft of handling it effectively.
