Their chapter, \"Shifting from Red AI to Green AI,\" is a groundbreaking work in the field. Mumbai Educational Trust Congratulates both the authors on their collaborative achievement.

Dr. Swati Lodha, Director, MET Institute of Management was invited as a distinguished speaker at the Lokmat Global Economic Convention held in Singapore, where successful leaders such as Shri. Mangalprabhat Lodha, Mr. Gautam Singhania, Mr. Pradeep Rathore, Mr. Prakash Jain, Mr. Madhusudan Agrawal, Ms.Dipali Goenka, Ms. Amrita Phadnavis, Mr. Suresh Mutha and many more graced the occasion.

During the convention Dr. Lodha delivered a speech on ‘The eastern way of management and its global impact’. She shared her insights on the learnings on the marwari way of living and business and its impact on the overall global business landscape.

At the Global Economic Convention, Dr. Lodha received the ‘Lokmat Global Sakhi Achievers Award’ recognizing the achievements and success as a women leader.

Empowering the next wave of innovators at MET IOM

MET Institute of Management signed MoU with Atal Incubation Centre - Rambhau Mhalagi Prabodhini (AIC-RMP) under ‘Academic Partner - Generic MoU’ Category. This initiative will foster innovation and entrepreneurship at MET IOM.

As part of the IIC Initiative for Mentor Mentee engagement, MET Institute of Management (Mentor College) undertook prescribed activities to monitor the progress and offer guidance to its 5 mentee Institutes regarding the implementation of IIC activities and the uploading of reports on the IIC portal.

Innovation Ambassadors of MET IOM; Dr. Manmeet Barve, Mr. Shailesh Sargade, Dr. Rashmi Bhadani and Mr. Rohit Mohite visited Bharati Vidyapeeth\'s Institute of Management Studies and Research (BVIMSR), Maniben Nanavati Women\'s College (MNWC), SIES College of Commerce & Economics (SIES), Sasmira\'s Institute of Management Studies & Research (SIMSR), Shree Chanakya Education Society’s – Indira School of Business Studies (ISBS), in the month of April-May 2024. During these visits, the Innovation Ambassadors assessed the progress of the mentee institutes in implementing IIC activities. They provided guidance on how to enhance the organization and robustness of their IIC structures, ensuring effective implementation and timely reporting on the IIC portal. This initiative aimed to foster a collaborative environment for innovation and continuous improvement across all participating institutions.

MET Institute of Management under the aegis of COE - Finance hosted ‘Case Study & Factsheet Competition’ which emphasised on Behavioural Finance. The competition was led by Mr. Sunny Mondal, Professor, MET IOM, and was judged by Faculty, Dr. Akhil Shetty, Mr. Sandesh Akre, Mr. Shailesh Sargade & Mr. Rohit Mohite. The competition provided students a platform to showcase their analytical skills and develop innovative solutions to real-world financial challenges.

The Winners of the Case Study Competition were Ms. Ruchira Dhamapurkar, Mr. Raj Kacharekar, Mr. Vallabh Koyande and Ms. Anushka Chaudhari.

The students\' participation in the competition proved to be an invaluable learning opportunity that nurtured critical thinking, teamwork, and presentation skills specifically in the field of Behavioral Finance.

MET Institute of Management acknowledges the remarkable achievement of MMS students Arushi Sah and Amish Sah. They secured the top prize at the \"Sustaino Pitch\" competition organized by Welingkar Institute of Management (Webiz) in Mumbai. The competition tasked participants with crafting a business plan that tackled challenges faced in rural and healthcare settings.

Arushi and Amish captivated the judges with a comprehensive plan that addressed these critical areas. Their winning strategy combined innovative solutions with a focus on sustainability, aiming for a long-lasting positive impact. Through meticulous planning and creativity, they developed a unique service that not only fulfilled existing needs but also demonstrated its feasibility and potential for success. Their pitch emphasized their commitment to stakeholder engagement, financial sustainability, and the overall positive impact of their solution. It\'s this holistic approach, coupled with their dedication to sustainable practices, that propelled them to victory.

Under the Mentor-Mentee Scheme of the IIC, Innovation Ambassadors of MET Institute of Management, Mr. Shailesh Sargade, Mr. Rohit Mohite and Ms. Ria Patnaik conducted workshops on “Process & Prototype Design & Intellectual Property Rights & IP Management for Startups” at Bharati Vidyapeeth\'s Institute of Management Studies & Research Belapur CBD and Indira School of Business Studies, Pune in the month of April 2024.

The workshops aimed at enhancing participants\' understanding and proficiency in process design, prototype development, and intellectual property management, fostering their ability to innovate strategically and protect their creative endeavours.

Participants learned about the tools and techniques for transforming ideas into tangible and testable products. They also explored various strategies for designing efficient and scalable processes that align with business goals. Additionally, they discussed practical tips for managing IP that can help startups not only protect but also monetize their intellectual assets.

MET Institute of Management is pleased to inform that MMS students, Mr. Abhiram Nimkar, Ms. Saloni Shinde, and Mr. Kaustubh Mhamunkar, won the First Runner-up position at the prestigious Rasprava Competition held at Nirma University, Ahmedabad. This HR case study-based competition challenged their problem-solving and strategic thinking skills through three rigorous rounds.

The competition commenced with an online assessment test, followed by a complex organisational design structure round, where 10 teams fiercely competed for advancement. The shortlisted 6 teams, including the MET IOM students team, then faced a real-world case study presentation challenge in the final round. Demonstrating exceptional critical thinking, agility, and communication skills, relying solely on their own skills delivering a compelling performance.

MET Institute of Management inaugurated \'MPower 365 - Unleashing Empowerment for Every Day\' on 09th January 2024. During the inaugural, Renowned actor and AdFilm Director, Mr. Gajraj Rao and Mr. Pawan Shankar, Actor & Entrepreneur were invited to interact and share their pearls of wisdom through their professional and entrepreneurial journey. The talk was conducted as a free-wheeling fire chat moderated by Dr. Manmeet Barve, Associate Professor, MET IOM.

Mr. Rao elaborated on his remarkable journey and the milestones.He delved into the learnings he gained throughout his career, emphasising the importance of perseverance and being real in the given digital world. Drawing from experiences, he shed light on the creation of the award-winning ad \'Respect the National Anthem\' produced by his AdFilm Company, Code Red Films.

Mr. Shankar highlighted essential qualities and skill-sets that a management graduate should possess while sharing his personal and professional journey. He provided valuable insights into his journey as an actor and entrepreneur, offering a unique perspective on the intersection of business and the entertainment industry, fostering learning beyond the classroom.

A heartiest congratulations to all the MMS students for their active participation and victories in numerous National Inter-collegiate B-School Competitions throughout the Academic Year 2023-24.

Faculty and MMS students of MET Institute of Management, virtually attended the launch and workshop of the Viksit Bharat@2047: Voice of Youth initiative’ organised on 12th December 2023.

During the workshop, the student fraternity, representing the youth of the country, gained cognizance of the significance of youth ideas and suggestions in propelling India towards developed status by 2047. Recognizing that the collective wisdom and innovative solutions of the younger generation are pivotal, they pledged to actively contribute to the nation\'s progress through constructive dialogues and initiatives.
