The students of ADMM Journalism & Public Relations of MET Institute of Mass Media visited Wankhede stadium for a full day live sports coverage as part of their assignment for the subject, Genres & Beats - Sports Segment. The PG students of mass media interviewed Suryakumar Yadav, the famous cricketer and captain of Mumbai\'s Ranji Trophy team, who also plays for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.

As part of the subject, Television Production & Programming the mass media post graduate students were trained on Multi-cam. The students shot a scene on a three camera setup, learnt how to switch cameras on the basis of the required character focus and scene conversation. The not only got a clear understanding of the utility of a multi-camera setup but also a hands on experience of it.

As part of the subject Film Production Techniques the mass media post graduate students were trained on song picturization. A two day long workshop starting with song selection and shot breakdown of the song lines to choreography, the students learnt the entire cycle of the process. This was followed by the students actually shooting the song and editing the project. It was about actually learning the essence of a song and its picturization in a film, not just on paper but in actual.

MET Institute of Mass Media organized a two day long - Cinematography and Lighting Workshop for the ADMM Entertainment Students, The Workshop was conducted by the noted Cinematographer, A. S Kanal. The students received a practical training on the technical segment of story-telling utilities and its essence in audio visual media.

MET Institute of Mass Media conducted for the PG Media students, a fabulous workshop on making eco-friendly Ganpati idols. The Workshop was conducted by Dr. Mangesh Karandikar, Director - MET Institute of Mass Media. The students learnt the art of making clay idols with concentration and creativity at its peak.

The ADMM students at MET Mass Media attended the Leadership & Team Building Workshop by Max Fernandes, Theatre Artist. Using Theatre as a base, the students were made to do various activities that helped them work on their leadership skills, stage confidence and team spirit.

MET Institute of Mass Media students undertook a training in Business Dinning. Renowned Image Consultant – Ms. Pallavi Datta conducted the workshop starting with the different types of cuisines and the cutlery used for different types of foods. She gave them understanding of a client meet scenarios and the essentials of formal business dinning. Post which students were practically taught how to hold and eat with chop sticks, usage of soup spoons and other elements of lunch and brunch meals in business environments.

MET Institute of Management celebrated the International Yoga Day on 21^st June 2019. Acharya Sharda Bubna along with yoga trainers Ms. Trupti Vaidya and Ms. Sangeeta Khana conducted the yoga workshop at MET Convention Centre. The program was well attended by directors, faculty, staff and students of MET. Young students of MET Rishikul Vidyalaya, the Cambridge School, also attended the program.

MET Institute of Mass Media conducted an excellent workshop for its PG students about the importance of eco-friendly Ganpati idols. Led by Dr. Mangesh Karandikar, Director MET Institute of Mass Media, learnt the art of making clay idols. Spectacularly enchanted by the touch of the clay the PG students were enthralled and used their creativity to the maximum by engaging with the clay.
