ADMM Alumni Reunion 2023

MET Institute of Mass Media organised an Alumni Reunion on Saturday, 4th February 2023.
The event was held in the presence of Mr. Sanjay Sakharkar, Director, MET IMM, Dignitaries,
faculty members & students.
The Reunion featured an awesome Entertainment Show comprising solo singing as well as a
skit performance by current students of ADMM. During the gathering event, alumni shared what
led them to their chosen career paths, lessons learned and also advised the current media
students.
The highlight of the event was the ‘MET IMM Alumni Awards 2023’ bestowed upon alumni for
their exemplary and outstanding contributions to the industry. The Winners were quite
nostalgic and excited at the same time while receiving the awards and expressed their
immense gratitude to MET for helping them shape their Media career paths.
It was an amazing evening of recognising the achievements and getting nostalgic for all
the alumni.

(ADMM M9 Batch), Ms. Mansi Shah, Brand Planning & New Business Director, Famous
Innovations (ADMM M8 Batch), Mr. Partha Maity, Senior Manager (Sports), The Small
Big Ideas (ADMM M15 Batch), Ms. Aakriti Gupta, Sr. Account Executive, Havas Life
Sorento (ADMM M14 Batch), Mr. Mayur Sakhare, Singer, Musician & Marketer (ADMM
M8 Batch) were felicitated with Excellence in Career Advancement Award 2023. Ms.
Priyanka Surve, Partner & Creative Head, Motley Advertising (ADMM M5 Batch) was
felicitated with Excellence in Contribution to Alma Mater Award 2023. Congratulations to
all the winners. You make MET proud!

Field Visit to Indian Express Pvt. Ltd.

On 28th of February, 2025, MET Institute of Mass Media organised a captivating field visit to The Indian Express Pvt Ltd, offering PGP MCMM students a firsthand look into the dynamic world of newspaper production.
The visit was not only an opportunity for students to witness the intricate process of newspaper making, but also an eye-opener to the immense effort and passion that fuels the industry. It highlighted how the press remains a cornerstone of information dissemination, thriving with hard work and dedication.
Students had the chance to explore various departments within the press, gaining insights into the roles and responsibilities of each team. From editorial to printing, they learned about the collaboration and contributions that ensure newspapers reach every corner of the country.
Overall, it was a highly experiential visit, enriching the knowledge of Media students and providing them with a deeper understanding of the media industry\'s workings.
