The students of MET Institute of Mass Media had an interactive session with M10 Batch Alumni, Mr. Shravan Bane. Mr. Shravan is a Radio Host, Artist, Content Creator and Photographer currently doing projects with Planet Marathi OTT.

During the interaction, Mr. Shravan discussed his transitioning journey from Radio to the vibrant world of OTT. He shared wisdom, emphasising the importance of grounding ourselves in unwavering consistency and relentless efforts as the students embark on their professional odysseys and beyond.

Unveiling the Melodic Journey!

The students of MET Institute of Mass Media had an incredible Alumni interaction with Mr. Mayur Sakhare, the talented artist behind recently released single \'STAY.\'

During the interaction, Mayur took on a nostalgic ride through his educational journey at MET and shared his roadmap to the music industry. His words left the students with a sense of freshness and a zeal to achieve.

MET Institute of Mass Media’s Alumni, Mr. Anup Kadam (Batch M4) visited his alma mater for mentoring the students of ADMM under the aegis of the ongoing ‘Alumni Mentorship Series’.

During the visit, Mr. Anup discussed the changing landscape of content. He discussed various OTT platforms and ways of launching a web series, competition considerations, and timelines for making a series and making it live. Mr. Anup also guided the students about the career roadmap in OTT. It was an extremely insightful learning experience for the budding media professional of batch M18.

MET Institute of Mass Media had the pleasure of hosting an Alumni Interaction Session for the current ADMM M19 batch, featuring the accomplished Ms. Pratika Bhosale, an Account Executive at Avian WE and an esteemed alumni from the M16 Batch.

During this enlightening session, Ms. Pratika skillfully connected the dots within the realm of Public Relations, sharing her insights and experiences gained from working with prominent brands such as Voot, Voot Select, Zee 5, and many others. She also heartwarmingly acknowledged MET as the foundation of her successful career journey.

MET Institute of Mass Media welcomed ADMM Alumni (M5 Batch) Ms. Priyanka Surve, Founding Partner & Creative Director, Motley Advertising to conduct a session on ‘Creative Entrepreneurship’ under the aegis of ongoing Alumni Mentorship Series.
Ms. Surve narrated her learning journey at began at MET IMM where she pursued her PG Media studies and then worked towards starting up her own agency after gaining relevant work experience in the creative teams with numerous advertising agencies. As a part of the Alumni Mentorship Series 2022 MET Institute of Mass Media welcomed ADMM Alumni (M7 Batch) Ms. Nidhi Laddha, Senior Manager - Marketing, Nykaa to conduct a session on ‘The Business of Beauty’.
From a decade of working experience in Advertising & Marketing, Ms. Nidhi shared learning including the highlights from her paradigm shifts and corporate journey. She also explained in detail about the marketing of skin care products and the crux of creative marketing.

As a part of the ongoing Induction Programme for ADMM Batch 18 MET Institute of Mass Media organised an informative session on ‘Personal Branding on LinkedIn’ on 13th Aug 2022.
The session was conducted by MET Alumni Mr. Karan Sethi, Senior Account Director, LinkedIn. During the interaction with students, Mr. Sethi explained the essence of having an effective online presence on LinkedIn. He further shared insights on using this professional platform for building yourself as a brand and effective networking.

MET Institute of Mass Media invited ADMM Alumni - M5 Batch, Mr. Faraz Khan, Head of Sales and Marketing, OneIndia (Daily Hunt) to conduct a session under the aegis of Alumni Mentorship Series.

Mr. Khan shared his valuable insights on the paradigm shift in the marketing mix of the brands during building up a digital campaign. Walking the students through his professional journey he conveyed how marketing & advertising go hand in hand.

True liberty for a woman comes from the ability to make financial decisions in her life. Mumbai Educational Trust organised a session ‘My Money Masterclass’ on financial literacy for female alumni, staff, students and spouse of male alumni. The session was organised in collaboration with LXME, a Social FinTech - 1st Financial Platform for Women.

Ms. Priti Rathi Gupta, Founder, LXME discussed the importance of investment in the life of a woman and how financial goals can be achieved. Ms. Gupta held a comprehensive dialogue starting from the need for investment, addressed the problems women face while investing, also discussed the various investment avenues available to achieve financial goals.

The session ended with an extensive Q&A round. Ms. Gupta devoted her time in addressing the queries of the participants.

MET Institute of Mass Media (MET IMM) recently conducted its 5^th Annual HR Meet. MET Synergy 2018 was a grand success and it witnessed participation from major Media Organizations. Media stalwarts such as MullenLowe Lintas, Wizcraft Entertainment Hungama Digital Perfect Relations WAT Consult Indiacast Media Triton Communications YOUME AND WE PR 9X Media were all present from this amazing interaction between the HR. Our HR panelists consisted of Mustafa Merchant (Times Television Network), Ami Mehta (9X Media), Amruta Patil (Endemol India), Jyoti Panda (Ultra Entertainment), Elson Sequira (Iprospect, Denstu Ageis Network), PB Lalrinchhana (Viacom 18), Rajkamal Pandey (Adfactors PR)-Panel Discussion Moderator). The panel discussion was on the topic of “Dynamic of Media Hiring” which discussed in detail the opportunities and problems in the world of Media jobs. Then, HR panelist took questions from the students of PG in Advertising, Journalism, Entertainment, Public Relations and Digital Marketing. They gave them tips about how to apply for a correct job, the skills required in every media organization etc. The PG students of Mass Media were extremely happy to interact with the HR’s and had a truly great learning experience.
