MET Institute of Mass Media had the pleasure of hosting an enriching Ad Film Making Workshop on 21st June 2025 for passionate and curious media students. The session was led by Mr. Mohan Azad, a veteran film director at R G Films & TV LLP, who brought with him years of industry expertise and insights. His practical approach and deep understanding of visual storytelling made the session truly impactful for all attendees.
The workshop covered the entire journey of Ad film making from conceptualization to post-production, giving students a hands-on perspective on the creative and technical process behind compelling ad films. A big thank you to Mr. Azad for inspiring the next generation of media professionals with such an engaging and insightful session!

On 26th September 2025, the MET HR Department organized a special health awareness workshop \"Thoda Gyaan, Thodi Muskaan\", designed to guide staff on handling medical emergencies and adopting preventive measures for overall well-being.
The session was conducted by renowned physician Dr. Tushar Shah, who combined practical health tips with lighthearted humor, making learning both insightful and engaging.
Through such initiatives, MET continues to prioritize the holistic welfare of its community.
Game-Based Learning in Action – Day 4 of FDP

MET CET successfully conducted an insightful workshop on “Game-Based Learning†on Day 4 of the ongoing 5-Day FDP Workshop Series, facilitated by Dr. Ajita Deshmukh.
The session encouraged MET teachers to explore unstructured teaching by designing games that were interactive, participatory, and enjoyable for students. It reinforced the belief that when learning feels like play, education becomes more engaging and impactful.
At MET, we continue to empower our faculty with innovative teaching methodologies that inspire both educators and learners.
MDP on Design Thinking

MET Institute of Mass Media conducted a Management Development Programme on Design Thinking & Creative Problem Solving for new age Corporate Managers and modern Entrepreneurs from across industry domains. This training programme was facilitated by Dr. Suvrashis Sarkar, Dean, MET Institute of Mass Media, on 19th July 2025.
The MDP participants were professionals from oraganisation such as Tata Capital, Capgemini, L&T Infotech Mindtree (LTIMindtree), Sigmoid Consulting, Green Acres Academy.
During the session participants learnt about key concepts of Design Thinking being different from conventional approach to problem solving and were guided with a human-centred approach to problem solving by integrating with technology using real life case studies across industry domains. The participants got analytical and creative ways to solve complex business problems from their respective business areas. Participants were given Case studies from Harvard Business Review and MIT Sloan for further discussions on Design Thinking. The programme was well received by all the participants.
Mastering Nextgen Media with AI Tools Workshop

On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, 15 July 2025, MET Institute of Mass Media proudly organized an interactive workshop on \"Mastering Nextgen Media with AI Tools\" for passionate Media students and young Professionals. The workshop was facilitated by Prof. Omprakash Mandge, Associate Professor, MET Institute of Computer Science.
The workshop covered important topics shaping the futute of media. Participants explored AI powered content creation Tools along with personalized media content and recommendation engines that improve audience engagement. The session also delved into AI in editing and post-production & Data Driven Storytelling.
The workshop offered a practical lens into how AI can be used as a creative collaborator from ideation to execution. It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm and curiosity of our future media leaders as they explored emerging tools shaping tomorrow\'s content landscape.
