MET Institute of Management, Mumbai conducted a guest lecture on Algorithmic Trading for MMS Finance students on 24th January 2026, delivered by Mr. Piyush Dave, a FinTech & Data Science Professional and Algorithmic Trading Consultant. The session covered the core foundations of algo trading and highlighted how automation is shaping today’s financial markets.

Mr. Dave explained each topic in a clear and practical manner, making technical concepts easy to follow. He also introduced students to 40+ trading strategies, including HMA, TWAP, VWAP, RSI Mean Reversal Algo, and several other real-market models used by traders. His examples helped students understand how these strategies work and when they are applied.

The session added strong academic and industry value, giving students hands-on exposure to modern trading techniques. It was an engaging and highly informative experience for all attendees.
