As part of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) calendar activities, MET Institute of Management conducted an insightful session on the Business Model Canvas (BMC) to help students structure and refine their startup ideas. The objective of the session was to equip students with essential tools to visualize, analyze, and evaluate their business concepts in a structured and practical manner.

During the session, students were guided to prepare a Lean Model Canvas, focusing on key elements such as problem identification, customer segments, value proposition, revenue streams, and cost structure. The exercise encouraged critical thinking and creative problem-solving.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from all students, who demonstrated innovation and originality in developing their business ideas. Upon completion, students presented their Lean Model Canvas on chart papers, which were displayed on the institute’s display boards. Faculty members of MET IOM reviewed these submissions and provided valuable and constructive feedback, further helping students refine their business models.

This interactive session served as an excellent platform for students to develop entrepreneurial thinking and gain clarity on structuring their ideas into actionable business plans.
