Prof. Vikas Shirodkar, Honorary Dean & Professor - MET Institute of Management and Dr. Preeti Shirodkar, Associate Professor, Communication & Soft Skills - MET Institute of Management released their second joint publication ‘Cross-Cultural Competence for Glocal Success’ on 22^nd December, 2018 in a function which was organised under the aegis of the Thane Management Forum (TMF). The book was released at the hands of Dr. Ranjan Banerjee, Dean - S.P Jain Institute of Management & Research also a renowned academician and consultant to varied MNCs. On this occasion Dr. Ranjan Banerjee gave a talk on the importance of cross-cultural competence, followed by a presentation by the authors on the rationale behind choosing to write on this topic and the areas they have covered in the book. The programme witnessed a footfall of hundred plus professionals, who were very impressed by both the presentation and talk. Surely a book worth reading!
