Prof.(Dr.) Rajesh Jaware, as the event facilitator, engaged the audience with insightful perspectives on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, representing Maharashtra State Skill University. He stressed instilling entrepreneurial aspirations in college students, fostering an entrepreneurial culture from an early stage.

The conclave included the recognition of Mr. Dhanush from the Wadhwani Group, introducing \'Ignite,\' a free course empowering budding entrepreneurs. Mr. Dhanush highlighted the importance of developing intrapreneurial skills and the transformative impact on the startup ecosystem.

MET Institute of PGDM joined forces with MRSI for a riveting session on the \'Impact of Digitization and AI on Marketing\' with Mr. Abhinav Goel, Senior Lead of Consumer Insight at Nestle India, on Feb 13, 2024.

Students dove deep into Nestle\'s dynamic marketing strategy, exploring the integration of AI and digitization. Insights on online and social media users nationwide were unveiled, showcasing how Nestle products like Milkmaid, Ceregrow, Maggi, and Munch have evolved with India\'s changing landscape.

Mr. Abhinav Goel delved into fascinating tools like AI-based campaigns, personalized 2-way interactions on WhatsApp, Maggi\'s Food Verse, and Meta Verse for an immersive experience.

Exploring influencer partnerships, inventive advertising approaches, and the Madonna curve concept, the session highlighted the crucial need for continuous evolution to remain pertinent. Mr. Abhinav Goel underscored, \"Digitalization revolves around people, not merely technology. Embrace change for a forward trajectory.\" The event concluded with a dynamic Q&A forum.

MET Institute of PGDM organised a five-day ‘Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Research Paper Writing and Publishing in High Impact Journals’ from 11th to 17th January 2024. The event, conducted both online and offline, attracted over 22 participants from academic and research backgrounds, spanning locations within and outside Maharashtra.

The FDP covered crucial topics such as Research Gap Analysis, Literature Review, SPSS in Research, Python in Research, Patents and Copyright in Research, and the intricacies of publishing in High Impact Journals. Renowned speakers and facilitators from esteemed academic institutions, including Dr. Rashmi Soni, Professor, K J Somaiya Institute of Management, Dr. Meera Shanker, Director, Jankidevi Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Dr. Smitha Shukla, Director, Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute of Financial and Management Studies, Dr. Jyotsna Munshi, Deputy Director - Corporate Relations, MET, Dr. Suvrashish Sarkar, Associate Professor, MET PGDM, Prof. Hirendra Soni, Assistant Professor, MET PGDM, led the sessions.

MET Institute of PGDM hosted the \'AI Case Study Competition\' on Saturday, October 28, 2023, bringing together some of the sharpest minds to tackle real-world challenges.

This incredible event was divided into three captivating rounds, each crafted to push the boundaries of knowledge and innovation:

Round 1: Participants engaged in a 20-minute online quiz, testing their grasp of AI concepts and applications.
Round 2: Shortlisted teams delivered abstracts, showcasing their problem-solving prowess and ability to dissect intricate AI scenarios.
Round 3: The grand finale was the presentation round, where teams shone by presenting detailed solutions to their case studies.

Amidst fierce competition, the results were as follows:

Second Runner-up: Team Parth, who displayed remarkable problem-solving skills.
First Runner-up: Team Aryan, demonstrating their analytical acumen and innovative thinking.
The coveted title of competition Winners went to Team Drashti, whose solution stood out from the rest.

The esteemed judges, Mr. Devesh Chawla, CEO and Founder of Chatur Ideas, and Mr. Suhas Patil, Team Lead in AVP Grade, added an extra layer of prestige to the event, making it a knowledge-sharing and innovation hub.

The students of MET Institute of PGDM were invited to be part of the remarkable Maharashtra Rajya Khadi Gramodyog Mandal 2023 exhibition! This exhibition, organized by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission, aimed to promote rural arts and craftsmanship. Held at Virangula Hall, opposite Mantralaya from 12th to 14th September 2023, this event showcased the incredible work of around 30 self-help groups (SHGs) from various rural areas. The stalls at the exhibition presented a wide range of unique products, including cow dung paints, natural herbs honey, essence sticks, khadi dresses, sarees, natural soaps, paper pulp Ganpati murtis, and much more. The students of MET PGDM played a vital role in ensuring the success of this event. They gathered crucial information about the stall holders, managed inventory lists, prepared stock reports and sales reports, and collected visitor feedback to ensure a seamless and successful exhibition.

The VIP guests received a warm welcome and top-notch care throughout their visit, thanks to the dedication and coordination of the students. Their remarkable efforts were recognized and celebrated at the valedictory ceremony on 14th September 2023.

The exhibition concluded with a jaw-dropping sales record of 6.27 Lakhs, a testament to the impeccable coordination and organization by the students of MET Institute of PGDM. The event not only showcased the amazing products of rural artisans but also highlighted the students\' exemplary management skills, from stall arrangements to closure reports.

MET Institute of PGDM celebrated an incredible Teacher\'s Day on September 5th, 2023! PGDM students orchestrated a special session to honor MET’s cherished faculty and non-teaching staff.

The session revolved around the theme of \"Enhancing Spiritual Quotient & Offering Personal Faculty Counseling\" and was skillfully led by the inspiring speaker Bhakta - Suraj Yadav. Bhakta Suraj Yadav, a Spiritual Student and Monk from ISKCON Temple, Juhu, shared priceless insights into spirituality and consciousness. This interactive session shed light on the importance of inner peace and personal growth. MET extends its deepest gratitude to Bhakta Suraj Yadav for graciously imparting his wisdom to everyone!

The Cultural Team of MET Institute of PGDM hosted a food fest, ‘Red Carnival’ - A December to Remember!. The fest gave a platform to the students for applying & uplifting their business ideas and bringing creativity with innovation to the cliché cuisine.

The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Yogesh Bhamare, State Director, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Mr. Pankaj Bhujbal, Hon. Trustee, MET, CA Dr. Shyamsundar Das, Deputy Director, MET Institute of PGDM in the presence of MET faculty and students.

A total of 16 teams put up an amazing food stall. The Business Ideas were judged by Mr. Sanjay Sakharkar, Director, MET Institute of Mass Media and Dr. Chitra Wadke, Head - MET CET on costing, recipes, food presentation and marketing etc.

MET Institute of PGDM hosted an event on 18th August 2023 about \"Value Propositions & Business Fit in Real Estate Markets,\" led by Mr. Aditya Sureka, Head of Sales, Hiranandani Group. The session covered the significance of RERA in ensuring transparent transactions, consumer protection, and industry credibility, as well as insights into harnessing digital platforms for effective marketing, spanning social media finesse and lead generation. Moreover, the session unveiled strategies for strategic real estate investments by understanding market trends and risk management.

Ultimately, the session not only shed light on vital real estate, digital marketing, and investment aspects but also guided PGDM students on forging their careers within this ever-evolving industry.

As part of the PGDM Batch 2023-25 induction program, an exciting talent hunt competition unfolded. This competition was divided into two categories, namely Cultural and Sports. In the Cultural event, the students participated in various activities like dancing, singing, painting and playing an instrument whereas in the sports event, students played games like Box-Cricket and Tug of War. It was a fun event that brought all the students together and they had a great time.

With the conclusion of the 3-week Induction Program, the PGDM students bid farewell to a period filled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable moments of play.
