On the 12th of July, 2024, MET Institute of PGDM hosted an enlightening session on \"Goal Setting\" led by Dr. Sonali Wagle, Founder of Exponential Advisory. As part of a series aimed at equipping students with essential skills for their professional and personal growth, Dr. Wagle emphasized the importance of setting clear, achievable goals. She introduced the SMART criteria – Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound – as a framework for effective goal setting, highlighting how these principles provide direction and purpose.

Dr. Wagle shared practical insights and techniques for setting and achieving goals, encouraging students to break down long-term goals into smaller, manageable tasks to maintain motivation and track progress. She stressed the importance of aligning personal goals with one\'s values and passions, explaining that such alignment strengthens the drive to achieve them. Additionally, she discussed the roles of self-discipline, perseverance, and flexibility in overcoming obstacles and adjusting goals as circumstances change.
