MET Institute of PGDM organized an insightful session on “World of MOOCs” on 11th July, led by Prof. Kiran Rodrigues, Assistant Professor at MET PGDM. The session aimed to introduce students to the evolving landscape of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and their relevance in today’s fast-changing digital learning ecosystem.

Students explored how platforms like SWAYAM, NPTEL, IITBombayX, and others enable flexible, affordable, and globally accessible learning. Prof. Rodrigues emphasized how MOOCs can be leveraged for self-paced learning, upskilling, and gaining a competitive edge in one’s career.

He also shared practical tips on identifying the right MOOCs and creating personalized learning paths aligned with individual career goals. Thanks to Prof. Rodrigues for encouraging our students to embrace lifelong learning and digital empowerment.
