The MET Institute of PGDM had the honor of hosting delegates from the Consortium for Global Education (CGE) on 10th February 2025 at the MET campus.

The discussions focused on fostering international collaborations through research initiatives, faculty & student exchanges, live projects, and guest sessions, paving the way for a dynamic global learning experience.

CGE delegates also addressed students on the significance of cultural sensitivity and skill development for thriving in the global business landscape.

MET Institute of PGDM students came together on Sunday, 7th September 2025, with a shared purpose – to give back to the environment through a Beach Clean-Up Drive. Armed with bags, gloves, and a strong sense of responsibility, they took a meaningful step towards creating cleaner shores and spreading awareness about sustainability.

This initiative was not just about cleaning the beach, but about reminding ourselves that small actions, when taken collectively, can lead to a big impact. The effort reflects our commitment to building a cleaner, greener tomorrow, one wave at a time.

MET Trust and HR Department organized a refreshing and joy-filled retreat for MET & MRV Faculty and staff members on March 8, 2025, at Monteria Village. This rejuvenating getaway offered the perfect balance of relaxation, adventure, and team bonding, providing a much-needed break from the academic routine.

Surrounded by nature, participants engaged in exciting activities, strengthened connections, and created unforgettable memories. Such initiatives reflect MET’s dedication to fostering a positive, vibrant, and enriching work culture.

MET PGDM students Batch 2025–27, Priyanka Kambli, Neha Kumhar and Vivek Upadhyay, secured 2nd place at the National-level Eco-Thrive 2025, hosted by SP Jain School of Global Management (Mumbai campus), winning a cash prize of ?15,000.

Competing with top B-schools across India, they impressed with their innovative project on the Blue Economy (SDG 14: Life Below Water) – creating a pilot-ready business model, delivering a compelling pitch, and excelling in the debate round.

MET Institute of PGDM launched its first case study book 2025, “Indian Management Teaching Cases: A Compendium” — an initiative that highlights the importance of learning through real-world management practices.

The unveiling ceremony, held on 13th September 2025 at the MET Convention Centre, was graced by Mr. Pankaj Bhujbal, Hon. Trustee, Mumbai Educational Trust, making it a proud and memorable occasion for the institute.

The event also witnessed the launch of three insightful PGDM club magazines — Metrix by the PGDM Marketing Club, Finedge by the PGDM Finance Club, and HR Connect by the PGDM HR Club. These student-led publications embody creativity, analytical excellence, and thought leadership, offering valuable perspectives on the world of management.

This milestone marks yet another step in our journey of fostering experiential learning and academic excellence, bridging the gap between theory and practice while shaping future leaders.

MET Institute of PGDM participated in AICTE’s nationwide cleanliness initiative on 12th Sept 2025.

PGDM students conveyed powerful messages, such as “Say No to Plastic” and “Let’s Pledge for Swachhata Towards a Better Bharat,” through impactful posters and a thought-provoking skit.

The activity encouraged creativity, awareness, and responsibility—nurturing leaders committed to building a cleaner and greener future.

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025, the Cultural Committee proudly organised a Rangoli Competition, where students expressed their patriotism through Tiranga-inspired designs. Each artwork beautifully reflected the spirit of unity, diversity, and love for the nation.

From themes like Operation Mahadev symbolizing strength and sacrifice to Atma Nirbhar highlighting India’s journey of self-reliance, the Rangolis radiated creativity and pride.

Heartiest congratulations to the winners, the First Prize going to Anushree, Prajakta, and Disha for their powerful artwork on the theme Operation Mahadev, symbolizing strength, sacrifice, and the spirit of India. The Runner-up position was secured by Priyanka, Sonal, Neha, and Pratyusha for their vibrant design on the theme Atma Nirbhar, beautifully reflecting India’s journey of self-reliance and progress.

The Cultural Committee of MET Institute of PGDM, organized a Skit Competition under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA), where students showcased impactful performances highlighting the dangers of substance abuse.

Through powerful storytelling, our students emphasized the importance of self-discipline, family support, and choosing a healthier path — sending out a strong message:

“Say No to Drugs – Yes to Life.” At MET, we remain committed to shaping responsible leaders and building a drug-free, progressive India.

As part of our global learning initiatives, the students of MET Institute of PGDM recently participated in an enriching Global Immersion Program at INTI International University, Malaysia (May–July 2025).

This international learning experience enabled PGDM students to explore global business ecosystems through interactive academic sessions, real-world industry projects, and corporate visits. Guided by seasoned international faculty, students deepened their understanding of global management trends while sharpening their strategic and analytical thinking.

Cultural exchanges and on-ground exposure further enriched their journey, preparing them to lead with a global mindset in today’s interconnected business world.
