MET Hydrogreen, The Green Club of MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma), organized a Nirmalya Collection & Composting Drive during Ganesh Chaturthi, ensuring eco-friendly disposal of offerings.

With the guidance of Dr. Suryakant Bhosale, Principal, MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma), Mrs. Dipali Khabale, Faculty Coordinator, and the enthusiastic participation of 47 students, the collected Nirmalya was processed through aerobic composting using the rotary drum method, transforming it into organic fertilizer.

This initiative not only reduced organic waste but also promoted sustainable waste management practices, inspiring the community to embrace eco-friendly traditions.

MET Trust and HR Department organized a refreshing and joy-filled retreat for MET & MRV Faculty and staff members on March 8, 2025, at Monteria Village. This rejuvenating getaway offered the perfect balance of relaxation, adventure, and team bonding, providing a much-needed break from the academic routine.

Surrounded by nature, participants engaged in exciting activities, strengthened connections, and created unforgettable memories. Such initiatives reflect MET’s dedication to fostering a positive, vibrant, and enriching work culture.

Students of MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) from the third and fourth year enthusiastically participated in a Tree Plantation Drive at Mulund, organized by My Micro Forecast. This initiative aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainability through the plantation of native tree species.

The activity not only helped restore biodiversity and improve green cover but also instilled a deeper sense of social responsibility and commitment to sustainable living among our students.

On 30th April 2025, under the guidance of MET Trustees, a movie screening initiative was organised by MET HR Department. MET Staff watched the movie, ‘Phule’, a biographical journey through the life of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule. A must watch inspiring film!

MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree), takes immense pride in announcing that Dr. Sindhu Menon has successfully completed her Ph.D. in Pharmacy (Science and Technology) in Pharmaceutical Analysis from C. U. Shah College of Pharmacy, SNDT Women’s University, under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Dr. Pratima Tatke

Her research on “Development and validation of analytical methods for simultaneous estimation of phytomarkers in polyherbal formulations” focuses on enhancing the quality of herbal medicines through advanced HPLC and HPTLC standardization techniques. This achievement underscores her dedication to academic excellence and research, further strengthening MET’s commitment to high-quality education.

Ms. Nidhi Mishra and Ms. Sakshi Fulaware, Final year B pharmacy students secured 1st position at the 5th Student Research Congress on “Innovations for Better Health,” held online on 20th -21st December 2024. Their project was lauded for its insightful approach and practical relevance, earning them well-deserved recognition in a highly competitive field.

Nidhi’s articulate presentation and the duo’s collaborative effort were key factors in their success, supported by the invaluable mentorship of Dr. Rashmi Srivastava and Dr. Vijaya Patil.

The MET Institute of Pharmacy Second Year Council rolled out the red carpet for a Bollywood-themed Freshers\' Party on 24th December 2024, giving a warm and vibrant welcome to our First-Year students.
