2025-04-12
The Social and Sustainable Committee of MET Institute of Management, successfully hosted Zero Waste Day, promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility. As part of the celebration, students presented innovative ideas on waste reduction, upcycling, and resource optimization, showcasing simple yet impactful ways to minimize waste in daily life.
Students even organized the \"Best from Waste\" Competition, where they transformed discarded materials into creative, functional, and aesthetically appealing products. This competition not only encouraged innovation but also emphasized the importance of viewing waste as a resource rather than a burden.
This celebration reinforced the power of small actions in shaping a greener future. Let’s continue to reduce, reuse, and rethink waste for a more sustainable world.
The event highlighted the role of effective planning and resource management in achieving sustainability goals. It also demonstrated how managerial skills like problem-solving and creative thinking can contribute to addressing environmental challenges.
