The much-anticipated intra-collegiate extravaganza, known for fostering energy, uniqueness, and camaraderie, began with the Inauguration and Annual Sports Day, marking the start of an exciting series of events. On 11th February inauguration ceremony was marked by an impressive march past by students and staff, symbolizing unity, discipline, and team spirit. The formal opening set an inspiring tone for the days ahead, encouraging participants to compete with passion and integrity.

Day 1: A Thrilling Kick-off with Annual Sports Day and Creativity Exhibition

The first day of MET Utsav 2026 witnessed enthusiastic participation across a wide range of outdoor and indoor sporting events, reflecting determination, focus, and competitive excellence.

The group games featured high-energy matches in Box Cricket, Rink Football, Dodge Ball, Volleyball, Throwball, Basketball, and Ball Badminton. Teams from staff and student categories showcased exceptional coordination, strategy, and resilience, making every match engaging and spirited.

Simultaneously, individual competitions brought out sharp focus and tactical brilliance in Carrom (Single), Table Tennis (Single), Chess, Shot-Put, and Badminton. Participants demonstrated precision, mental strength, and composure, embodying the essence of the theme—where mind and action work in perfect harmony.
