Shorewalk at Juhu Beach
2025-03-04
On 27th February 2025, MET Institute of Computer Science students participated in an insightful Shorewalk at Juhu Beach, organized by United Way.
The session highlighted the rich biodiversity of the intertidal region, where students observed a variety of marine creatures, including different types of crabs, shells, starfish and sponges. Experts explained the importance of these organisms in maintaining ecological balance. The hands-on experience allowed students to appreciate marine life and understand coastal ecosystems better. The interactive walk fostered awareness about marine conservation and the need to protect these delicate habitats from pollution and environmental threats.
