Scintillating performance by Shantanu Vartak and Shrey Jobalia helped MET lift the prestigious Inter-B School HOWZATT 2019 T20 trophy organized by the N L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies & Research. They defeated Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) in a thrilling final held at the Police Gymkhana under floodlights. After winning the toss, NMIMS scored 145 runs with the loss of 5 wickets in their given 20 overs. The wickets were shared each by MET bowlers Abhishek Patil, Kunal Naik, Amit Jadhav and Saurabh More. MET managed to get the required runs for the loss of 4 wickets with 2 balls to spare. Shantanu was adjudged the “Man of the Match” for his brilliant score of 55 runs of just 41 balls. Shrey scored a brisk 49 runs of just 41 balls with MET winning the match by 6 wickets!
