MET Asian Management Development Centre (MET AMDC) organized an insightful session on “Career Opportunities in International Banking and Finance” by Mr. Amit Pradhan, Vice President – Partnerships & Alliances at LIBF (India). The session proved highly beneficial for first-year management students, offering valuable insights into the dynamic and evolving world of global banking.

Mr. Pradhan elaborated on the vast scope of international banking and discussed emerging career domains such as technology, compliance, fintech, trade finance, anti-money laundering, data analytics, and risk management. He emphasized how professional certifications can significantly enhance employability and open doors to global opportunities.

Adding an interactive twist, he conducted a Fintech Quiz on behalf of LIBF, awarding the top three performers a 100% scholarship for the Foundations in Digital Finance and Innovation course.

Highlighting the importance of strong communication skills, continuous learning, and industry exposure, Mr. Pradhan encouraged students to plan early and build competitive profiles to succeed in global banking and finance careers.
