MET Institute of PGDM proudly hosted its much-awaited Alumni Homecoming 2024 on December 8, 2024, with the enchanting theme \"Hearts and Spades.\" The event was a delightful celebration, bringing together alumni, faculty, and students to relive cherished memories, reconnect with old friends, and celebrate the enduring legacy of MET.

The day began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing wisdom and prosperity, led by our esteemed Director, Dr. Das, alongside distinguished alumni and faculty members. The event featured an inspiring address by Dr. Das, highlighting the pivotal role of alumni in shaping the institute\'s legacy, and a heartfelt welcome speech by Seema Korgaonkar, setting a warm and vibrant tone for the day. The ceremony also included the felicitation of Arpit Beriwal, Vice President of the Alumni Association, for his invaluable contributions.

The evening’s highlight was the Awards Ceremony, recognizing alumni for their remarkable achievements. Hiba Sayed was honored with the Corporate Excellence Award for her leadership in finance, while Riddhi Vora received the Entrepreneurship Excellence Award for her expertise in digital marketing. The Community Leadership Award was presented to Karan Satbhadre, celebrating his commitment to empowering individuals and businesses. Following the ceremony, the celebration came alive with engaging activities like Filter It Out and Nostalgia Ads, dynamic dance performances by students, and shared laughter that bridged generations.

The event was a resounding success, celebrating bonds, achievements, and shared joy, leaving attendees with unforgettable memories and a renewed sense of connection to the MET family.

MET PGDM students Batch 2025–27, Priyanka Kambli, Neha Kumhar and Vivek Upadhyay, secured 2nd place at the National-level Eco-Thrive 2025, hosted by SP Jain School of Global Management (Mumbai campus), winning a cash prize of ?15,000.

Competing with top B-schools across India, they impressed with their innovative project on the Blue Economy (SDG 14: Life Below Water) – creating a pilot-ready business model, delivering a compelling pitch, and excelling in the debate round.
