MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Arun Raaza (Innovator and Entrepreneur) on August 2, 2024, for a highly informative lecture on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Accompanying him was Prof. Farida Virani, HoD of the MET Incubation Centre. Dr. Suryakant Bhosle, Principal of MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma), commenced the event by felicitating Dr. Raaza. Dr. Raaza, CEO of Arcomm Technology Development in Dubai and Director at STRICX LLC in New Jersey, USA, provided an in-depth overview of IPR and patents. He covered the basics of patents, the filing process, their importance in protecting innovations, and strategies for utilizing IPR effectively. Additionally, he shared his personal experiences in the field, offering valuable insights and practical advice that proved to be extremely helpful and motivating for the students.

Prof. Farida Virani encouraged students to develop innovative ideas and emphasized that the MET Incubation Centre is fully committed to supporting their creative efforts.
