Industrial visit enhances theoretical knowledge. An Industrial visit for the Final year students was organised on 13^th February, 2020, at Bruck Pharma Private Limited located at Daman. The industry specializes in manufacturing of oncology products particularly – liquid and lyophilized injections, tablets and capsules. It provided an overview of the major pharmaceutical departments and the functioning of each (The manufacturing unit, engineering, microbiology, quality control and quality assurance department). Students were given in depth explanation of Distilled water unit, Water for injection unit and also the HVAC system. The working of machines such as granulators, fluidized bed dryer, compression machine and lyophilizer was explained. High quality standards and safety measures are adopted at every level and even the safety of students was ensured. Student interaction with the Director and COO of the company cleared a lot of doubts about future prospects in the field of pharmacy and the Pharmaceutical industry.
