MET Institute of Management institutionalised the first student initiative, ‘Adhyapan - The Transformation Hub’ under the guidance of Dr. Farida Virani, Professor, MET IOM.
Adhyapan is a student driven initiative aims at developing competencies of underprivileged school students by providing training and mentorship in the areas of Personality Development, Digital Literacy, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and General Knowledge.
As a part of the programme, a mentor would be assigned to each mentee to monitor and evaluate the performance on a regular basis. Adhyapan is a distinctive pedagogic intervention that intends to nurture social responsibility among our B-School students through experiential learning.
Adhyapan commenced 2 sessions with students of Purushottam High School, Kherwadi, Bandra East. As a part of the programme 12 sessions would be conducted over the course of the next 6 months. A 15 student team of MET IOM conducted an ice breaking session to know their mentees better. To develop a bond, interactive activities and Games were conducted.
