Dr. Farida Virani, Professor, MET Institute of Management participated in the prestigious 2nd International Mind, Brain & Consciousness Conference, organized by the Indian Knowledge System and Mental Health Applications Centre (IKSMHA) from 4th to 7th June 2025 at IIT Mandi.

Dr. Virani presented a thought-provoking research paper titled “Unmasking Narcissism: Perspectives Rooted in IKS”, which explored the intersections of modern psychological insights with ancient Indian wisdom. Her paper was widely appreciated by a diverse audience of scholars, practitioners, and neuroscientists for its innovative integration of Indian Knowledge Systems into contemporary personality studies.

Her participation in this international academic forum reflects MET’s commitment to fostering interdisciplinary research, promoting indigenous knowledge systems, and contributing meaningfully to global discourse on mental health and behavioural studies.
