Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Survey
2025-02-22
MET Institute of Management’s Sustainability Club conducted a Baseline Survey as part of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) – a transformative initiative by the Government of India at Sapele and Bhoirwadi, Karjat. Under this program, MET Institute of Management has adopted five villages to bridge gaps in social conditions and create lasting change. The survey provided deep insights into the challenges faced by these communities, their basic needs, and the conditions they live in.
The mission extended beyond data collection. Through Social Awareness Drives focused on government schemes, the club worked to educate and empower the community, equipping them with knowledge and resources to unlock opportunities for growth. With the combined efforts of MET IOM faculty, students, and committed volunteers, along with the warm support of the local communities, including Bhoirwadi, meaningful progress was made in addressing social challenges and fostering sustainable development.
