MET AMDC organized a two-day Rural Immersion Programme in Nashik for students, with the aim of extending learning beyond the classroom and providing meaningful field exposure.

The first day focused on a visit to Meta Forge, a manufacturing company engaged in the production of cold forged special parts and precision components for multiple industries. Students observed the manufacturing processes and gained an understanding of how rural-based industries contribute to national and global supply chains.

The second day was dedicated to Sahyadri Farms, a leading farmer-producer organization. Students explored sustainable farming practices, cooperative models, and agri-tech innovations. Interactions with professionals provided insights into the functioning of organized agricultural systems and their growing market linkages.

Overall, the programme offered valuable experiential learning, helping students develop a deeper understanding of rural ecosystems, industry practices, and economic structures.
