On February 22, 2025, MET Institute of Management welcomed esteemed alumni, Ms. Rupali Kale, Head - GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance), YOTTA Data Services Pvt. Ltd., for an insightful session on ‘Circular Economy and Waste Management.’
Ms. Kale explained the distinctions between linear and circular economies and their respective impacts on sustainability. She highlighted the often-overlooked concept of ghost energy and underscored the critical role of efficient waste management in promoting environmental stewardship. The session further emphasized how the adoption of circular economy principles aligns with the objectives of India’s Swachh Bharat Mission, advocating for responsible consumption, waste reduction, and the pursuit of a cleaner, greener future.
