MET College Campus Lions Club was awarded by Lions Club International in July 2025 for their work in social service. Dr. Nirmala Joshi, Associate Professor, MET Institute of Management, and Mr. Monish Gogri, President, MET College Campus Lions Club received the award on behalf of the club.

Dr. Joshi has been coordinating and guiding the club’s activities, which have included blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, and awareness programs on health and education. These initiatives were carried out with the active participation of MET students and faculty members, aiming to support local communities through regular and organised efforts. This recognition highlights the importance of sustained engagement in community-focused programs within academic institutions.
