He has been appointed as an Honorary Member of the Technical Advisory Council of The National Cyber Safety and Security Standards (NCSS).
The NCSS plays a pivotal role in fortifying the nation’s digital infrastructure, protecting against emerging cyber threats, and ensuring a secure and resilient virtual environment. Mr. Bhalerao’s appointment to this prestigious position is a testament to his exemplary contributions and expertise in the field of cybersecurity.

MET Institute of Management organized an Alumni Interaction as a part of Aarohan Launchpad 2025 on 20th September 2025. MET Alumni from diverse sectors including FMCG, Consulting, Real Estate, Market Research, Media, Banking, and Manufacturing interacted with the newly inducted students at MMS 2025–27 sharing their journeys and insights on navigating the world of management.
Ms. Prajakta Mahajan (MMS 2007–09), Brand Manager, Pediasure, spoke about her career in FMCG and emphasized the importance of consumer understanding in building successful brands. Mr. Devesh Bhuwad (MMS 2011–13), Senior Manager, Accenture Strategy & Consulting, highlighted the value of strategic thinking and adaptability in the consulting space. Ms. Tanvi Vardam (MMS 2020–22), Senior Consultant – People Consulting, EY, shared her perspective on people-centric roles and how human capital is the cornerstone of organizational success. Mr. Devesh Chaturvedi (MMS 2019–21), Senior Research Manager, Kantar, discussed the significance of research-led insights for informed decision-making in today’s competitive markets. Ms. Nishita Godambe (MMS 2007–09), Media Analytics Director, MediaSense, reflected on the evolution of media and analytics, stressing the need for students to stay ahead of technological advancements.
Ms. Sonali Dhokte (MMS 2018–20), Regional Manager – Strategy & Project Management Office, IMEA, Henkel, spoke about leadership in global organizations and the ability to manage cross-cultural projects with agility. Ms. Tejaswita Karvir (MMS 2016–18), Senior Consultant, EY, encouraged students to focus on preparedness for the consulting industry and to invest in continuous learning as a way to remain relevant in a fast-changing world.
This Alumni Interaction session proved to be an inspiring exchange that guided the students of the MMS 2025–27 as they began their journey in management education. Corporate Readiness for MMS HR

Understanding the strategic role of HR in a rapidly changing global business environment was the core focus of the Corporate Readiness Session conducted for MMS - Human Resource specialisation students of MMS 2024–26 under Aarohan 3.0 on 26th July 2025. The session featured two distinguished MET alumni — Mr. Siddhant Kashyap, HR Head – North America at Technocolor Canada Inc. (MMS 2016–18), who joined the session virtually, and Ms. Shruti Chaturvedi, HR Manager at KPMG (MMS 2016-18). Both brought with them diverse perspectives from global HR leadership and strategic HR practices in consulting.
Mr. Kashyap spoke about the evolving expectations from HR professionals in global roles, emphasizing remote team management, digital transformation in HR, and the importance of cultural intelligence. He urged students to equip themselves with HR analytics, talent management frameworks, and emerging digital HR platforms.
Ms. Chaturvedi provided practical insights from her experience at KPMG, focusing on recruitment, employee engagement, and aligning HR with business outcomes. She offered clear guidance on how students should approach HR case studies, GDs, and interviews, highlighting the significance of emotional intelligence, strategic alignment, and professional presence.
Corporate Readiness Session for MMS Finance

On 19th July 2025, MET Institute of Management organized a Corporate Readiness Session for MMS - Finance specialization students as part of Aarohan 3.0. The session featured alumni Mr. Haresh Ramchandani, Head of League Operations, Tennis Premier League (MMS 2000–02), Mr. Amol Hiremath, Vice President at Citibank (MMS 2010–12), and Ms. Mrunalini Munj, Tax Senior at Deloitte (MMS 2020–22).
The session focused on key industry practices including financial modelling, the relevance of NISM and related certifications, and the growing importance of tools such as Power BI and Tableau. The speakers shared their experiences on how real-time analysis, risk management, and domain-specific software are shaping the expectations from finance professionals. Students gained practical advice on building analytical and reporting skills to match evolving industry requirements.

The Corporate Readiness Session for HR specialization students under Aarohan 3.0 was conducted on 19th July 2025 at MET Institute of Management. The session featured alumni speakers Ms. Savita Saklani, HR Head at Tim Hortons India (MMS 2010–12), Ms. Miloni Mehta, Talent Acquisition Advisor at Mott MacDonald (MMS 2016–18), and Mr. Dnyanesh Deshmukh, Deputy Manager - HR at XANADU Realty (MMS 2019–21).
The discussion centered on the strategic transformation of HR roles, highlighting topics such as employee experience, workforce planning, and data-informed decision-making. The alumni shared examples from their current roles to explain how HR functions now go beyond administration to actively contribute to organizational growth. Students were advised to develop skills in critical thinking, talent management, and people analytics to stay aligned with industry needs.
