My Money Masterclass

True liberty for a woman comes from the ability to make financial decisions in her life. Mumbai Educational Trust organised a session ‘My Money Masterclass’ on financial literacy for female alumni, staff, students and spouse of male alumni. The session was organised in collaboration with LXME, a Social FinTech - 1st Financial Platform for Women.
Ms. Priti Rathi Gupta, Founder, LXME discussed the importance of investment in the life of a woman and how financial goals can be achieved. Ms. Gupta held a comprehensive dialogue starting from the need for investment, addressed the problems women face while investing, also discussed the various investment avenues available to achieve financial goals.
The session ended with an extensive Q&A round. Ms. Gupta devoted her time in addressing the queries of the participants.

MET Incubation Centre hosted ‘Alumni Entrepreneurship Round Table’, uniting alumni with entrepreneurial experience across MET Institutes and graduating years.
Convened by Dr. Vaishali Kulkarni, Head, MET Incubation Centre, and Dr. Manmeet Barve, Dean, MET Incubation Centre, the session focused on a rich exchange of ideas and insights to strengthen the campus startup and innovation ecosystem.
The collaborative discussion will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic plan, startup roadmap, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the upcoming academic year. A key takeaway from the round table was the proposal to form an Alumni Mentor Pool — aimed at providing structured guidance and mentorship to student-led ventures.
MET extends sincere thanks to all Heads of Institutions (HOIs), Heads of Departments (HODs), and Incubation Faculty SPOCs for their enthusiastic participation and continued support in fostering entrepreneurship.
Morningstar Delegation at MET: Collaboration and Excellence in Education

Delegates from the Morningstar visited MET campus on 13th December 2023.
The team was led by Ms. Marie Lynch, Global Head (People and Culture), Morningstar based out at Chicago. She was accompanied by Mr. Pratik Parikh, India Head (People and Culture), Morningstar and Ms. Swapneel Singh, India Head (Talent Acquisition), Morningstar.
The delegate meet was graced by Mr. Pankaj Bhujbal, Hon. Trustee, MET, Dr. Abhijeet Banubakode, Head, MET Institute of Information Technology, Dr. Jyotsna Munshi, Director - Corporate Relations, MET and Mr. Nilesh Shirke, Academic Coordinator (C-DAC courses), MET IIT.
Hon. Trustee Mr. Pankaj Bhujbal, felicitated the guest and shared his vision and mission of Mumbai Educational Trust and 30+ years of journey in the field of Education. He discussed the strength of 30,000+ MET Alumni doing exceptionally well in their respective careers.
Mr. Shirke shared a detailed presentation about CDAC courses and campus recruitments. Dr. Munshi shared an overview of MET’s Management courses, Admission and Placements. Efforts and teaching methodologies at MET towards nurturing the students into complete professionals were highlighted and shared with the delegates.
Towards the closure of the meeting, delegates were given a physical tour of the campus. MET’s commitment to education and excellence was well appreciated by the Morningstar team.
