MET Institute of Computer Science organised a guest session on ‘Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)’ tailored for budding IT Professionals at MET MCA on 12th March 2024.

The session was conducted by IPR Expert, Dr Suvrashish Sarkar. The session emphasised on comprehensive insights into the world of IPR, including the fundamentals of patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets. The session helped students to fortify their understanding of IPR\'s significance in the IT industry. It provided them with an understanding about navigating legal frameworks effectively, safeguarding their intellectual property, and innovating with confidence.
