MET Institute of Computer Science recently hosted a guest session on \"Innovations and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)\" on 10th September 2024, led by Dr. Farida Virani, Head of MET Incubation Centre, and Dr. Arun Raaza, CEO of Arcomm Solutions Pvt. Ltd., India.

The session delved into the role of innovation in driving business growth, with Dr. Virani explaining the concepts of incremental and disruptive innovations. Dr. Raaza provided valuable insights into the different forms of IPR - Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights, and Trade Secrets - and how businesses can strategically apply them. He also highlighted the challenges and opportunities that the digital and AI age presents for intellectual property protection.
