A session on ‘Data Structures – How Industries Use Data Structures Beyond the Classroom’ was conducted for MCA students of MET Institute of Computer Science by Mr. Zark Kazi, Senior Executive Business Analyst at Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited on 22nd November, 2025.

Mr. Kazi explained the students how real-world projects rely on data structures at the backend and demonstrated how different components of applications use specific structures such as stacks, queues, trees, graphs and hash tables. Through industry-based examples, he showcased how data structures power scalable systems, decision-making tools and application performance.

The session effectively bridged academic learning with practical implementation and helped students understand the relevance of core concepts in professional environments.
