MET Institute of Computer Science organised a POSH Awareness Session for students, conducted by Adv. Chandni Chawla.

Adv. Chwala introduced the objectives of the POSH Act and clearly explained key terminologies such as sexual harassment, workplace, employer and Internal Committee, making them easy for students to understand.

Adv. Chawla emphasized the importance of recognising both intent and impact, highlighting how a person’s behaviour may be perceived and how impact often outweighs intent in POSH cases. Through real-life examples and an interactive approach, she encouraged students to build safer, respectful and gender-sensitive environments.
