Monty Hall Problem

Dr. Omprakash Mandge, I/C Principal, MET Institute of Computer Science, conducted an engaging classroom activity to explain the Monty Hall Problem and introduce the concept of Bayesian Belief Networks.
In this interactive exercise, three student volunteers represented doors while other students acted as contestants. One door secretly contained a prize, and after a contestant made a choice, an empty door was revealed. The contestant then decided whether to stay or switch. Repeated over nearly 20 rounds, the activity demonstrated that switching doors offers a 2/3 probability of winning.
The exercise effectively illustrated how new information updates beliefs, helping students understand Bayesian reasoning and AI decision-making concepts through active participation.
