Prof. Omprakash Mandge, Principal In Charge, MET Institute of Computer Science conducted an informative session on “Cyber Security Essentials” at SVKM’s Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Arts, Science and Commerce on 12th November 2025 for B.Sc(IT) second and third year students.

The session focused on creating awareness about online safety, data privacy, and protection against cyber threats such as phishing, malware, and identity theft. Prof. Mandge explained key security practices, password management, and the importance of digital hygiene through real-world examples. There was active participation, helping students understand how to stay secure in the digital era.
