MET Incubation Centre, in collaboration with the MET Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organised the MET Institute Level Startup Idea Competition 2025 as part of the National Entrepreneurship Day celebration. The event was graced by presence of Mr. Pankaj Bhujbal, Hon. Trustee, Mumbai Educational Trust and Mrs. Vishakha Bhujbal, Senior Management Representative, Mumbai Education Trust, whose inspiring words motivated the student innovators. The competition was also attended by all the HOIs, HODs, and Faculty SPOCs of the respective institutes, whose presence added immense value and support to the initiative. With enthusiastic participation from 43+ student teams, the event featured innovative business ideas addressing real-world challenges across diverse sectors. Guided by expert mentors, Ms. Smedha Sarkar - Founder, EduMann & Mr. Bikash Sahoo - Co Founder EduMann, the teams developed structured three-month action plans that helped them refine business models, validate ideas, and visualise sustainable growth strategies.

The competition concluded with impressive performances by several teams. The Winners of the competition were OTAworks, represented by Aamil Kader and Parth Hiwarkar. The 1st Runner-Up position was jointly secured by Cargocred, represented by Jay Kanbi, and Antara, represented by Neha Kumhar, Priyanka Kambli, and Vivek Upadhyay. The 2nd Runner-Up position was awarded to Kaam Pe, represented by Atharv Warunkshe, Akash Singh, and Sadhvi Boga.

The event truly reflected MET’s commitment to fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial and innovation-driven ecosystem. Through this initiative, MET Incubation Centre and MET IIC continue to empower students to think critically, innovate confidently, and transform ideas into impactful ventures.
