On April 25th, 2024, the Women Development Cell and IQAC of the MET Institute of PGDM collaborated to host an enlightening session on \"Prevention of Sexual Harassment and its Implementation.\" The session was graced by Mr. Shashikant Patil, the esteemed Head of Human Resources at Eureka Forbes Ltd.

Mr. Patil commenced the session by providing an insightful overview of the legal framework governing sexual harassment in the workplace. He elucidated on the pivotal legislations such as the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013, and its implications for both employers and employees. The session delved into the multifaceted aspects of sexual harassment, elucidating its various forms, including verbal, non-verbal, and physical conduct. Through real-life examples and case studies, participants gained a deeper understanding of the nuances involved in identifying and addressing instances of harassment.

Research Paper Competition 2025

MET Institute of PGDM and MET Human Resource Club in collaboration with HR Sampark, proudly hosted the National HR Conclave 2025 on 27th September 2025.

As part of the conclave, the Research Paper Competition was presented by MET Institute of PGDM and the MET Human Resource Club. The students of PGDM Batch 2024-26 showcased their research work, drawing valuable insights from their summer internship experiences. Topics ranged from Resume Quality and Recruitment Efficiency to HR Tech Platforms and Enhancing Organizational Training Efficiency. The competition was judged by eminent experts Dr. Neil Sequeira, Chief Operating Officer, Thane Cancer Hospital and Ms. Anagha Kapse, Deputy Manager HR, Indian Oil Adani Ventures, after careful evaluation, Ms. Mugdha Pawar, was declared the Winner, while Ms. Ambika Hundey, secured the position of First Runner-up.
