On 26th September 2025, the MET HR Department organized a special health awareness workshop \"Thoda Gyaan, Thodi Muskaan\", designed to guide staff on handling medical emergencies and adopting preventive measures for overall well-being.
The session was conducted by renowned physician Dr. Tushar Shah, who combined practical health tips with lighthearted humor, making learning both insightful and engaging.
Through such initiatives, MET continues to prioritize the holistic welfare of its community.
Game-Based Learning in Action – Day 4 of FDP

MET CET successfully conducted an insightful workshop on “Game-Based Learning†on Day 4 of the ongoing 5-Day FDP Workshop Series, facilitated by Dr. Ajita Deshmukh.
The session encouraged MET teachers to explore unstructured teaching by designing games that were interactive, participatory, and enjoyable for students. It reinforced the belief that when learning feels like play, education becomes more engaging and impactful.
At MET, we continue to empower our faculty with innovative teaching methodologies that inspire both educators and learners.
Greenesha 2025: Eco-Friendly Ganeshotsav at MET IOP

MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) proudly hosted Greenesha 2025 in collaboration with United Way Mumbai, an inspiring initiative to promote sustainable festive practices.
The highlight of the celebration was the Shadu Maati Murti Making Workshop, conducted by Grahin Art Institute under the guidance of renowned artists Mr. Vishal Pednekar, Mrs. Kinjal Pednekar, and their talented team. Students had a hands-on experience of sculpting eco-friendly Ganesh idols, learning the essence of tradition while embracing responsibility towards the environment.
This celebration beautifully reminded us that small eco-conscious steps can create a big impact for a greener tomorrow.
Bridging Academia & Industry: Preparing Future Pharmacists for Success

MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree), in collaboration with IQAC & IIPC, successfully hosted a two-day Industry Readiness workshop for final-year B. Pharmacy students on 24th & 25th February 2025. Led by the esteemed Ms. Geetha Sriniwasan & Dr. Anubha Khale (Founder-Partners, PlatPharm Skilling & Careers LLP), the sessions provided invaluable insights into commercial & government healthcare roles, unconventional career paths, higher education prospects, and resume-building strategies.
Students actively participated in mock Group Discussions & Interviews, gaining hands-on experience with selection screening tools—an essential step toward a seamless transition into the pharmaceutical industry!
