The MET Institute of Pharmacy hosted a seminar titled \'Enhancing Blood Donation Awareness\' on September 4th, 2023, featuring Dr. Tejaswini Itkare from Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai as the keynote speaker. The primary objective of the seminar was to debunk common misconceptions surrounding blood donation while emphasizing the differences between plasma and platelet donations. Dr. Itkare\'s aim was to motivate the attendees to take part in the upcoming blood donation campaign scheduled for September 5th, 2023. During her presentation, Dr. Itkare shared a heartfelt real-life story about a young leukemia patient to raise awareness about the importance of platelet donation.
