MET Trust and HR Department organized a refreshing and joy-filled retreat for MET & MRV Faculty and staff members on March 8, 2025, at Monteria Village. This rejuvenating getaway offered the perfect balance of relaxation, adventure, and team bonding, providing a much-needed break from the academic routine.

Surrounded by nature, participants engaged in exciting activities, strengthened connections, and created unforgettable memories. Such initiatives reflect MET’s dedication to fostering a positive, vibrant, and enriching work culture.

MET Institute of International Studies had the distinct privilege of welcoming Mr. Peter O’Hara, Associate Director – New Business, University of London, to MET campus.

During his interaction, Mr. O’Hara engaged in insightful discussions with students and faculty, shedding light on the University of London’s academic programs, career prospects, and international learning pathways. His expertise provided invaluable guidance on how students can leverage global education for future success.

Mr. O’Hara was felicitated by Mrs. Vishakha Bhujbal, Senior Management Representative, MET, in recognition of the strong academic partnership between MET and the University of London. On 30th April 2025, under the guidance of MET Trustees, a movie screening initiative was organised by MET HR Department. MET Staff watched the movie, ‘Phule’, a biographical journey through the life of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule. A must watch inspiring film!

MET Institute of International Studies, Mumbai bid farewell to its graduating class with immense pride and gratitude for the indelible mark they left on the institution. The hard work, determination, and spirit of camaraderie displayed by the students have paved the path for commendable success. The Institute has no doubt that these graduates will go on to achieve great things in their future endeavors.

Noteworthy achievements include Ms. Alifiya Shaikh securing 1st place in the World BBA category, Ms. Jennifer Chami earning 2nd place in the World BBA category, and Ms. Reanna Barrow achieved 3rd place in the World BSC Computing with Cyber Security.

The Orientation program for the batch of the academic year 2023 – 2024 was held on Tuesday, 04 July 2023 at MET Institute of International Studies campus, Bandra. The program was graced by Dr. G. Nagashree, Director, MET IIS and hosted by Ms. Neelam Maske. The faculty members guided the new batch on academic direction and ways to assimilate learning for achieving scholastic excellence. The senior students recounted their inspiring experiences about MET IIS and welcomed the new students to MET IIS.

MET Institute of International Studies organised a ceremony on 6th March 2023 to felicitate Mr. Usaid Kazi and Mr. Sahil Pai on being the world toppers. The students received certificates of ‘High Achiever’s Award for Academic Excellence’.

Both the MET IIS students stood in 3rd place in global rankings within their respective streams of Computing and Business. The certificates were distributed and faculty members were also felicitated by Mr. Pankaj Bhujbal, Hon.Trustee, Mumbai Educational Trust and Mrs. Vishakha Bhujbal, Senior Management Representative, MET for receiving Certificate of Academic Training Excellence in recognition of superior academic achievement .

MET Institute of International Studies, Mumbai and the University of Sunderland, UK have entered in an MoU for the academic progression. This will allow MET students to pursue their undergraduate degrees from the final year from the university campuses in Sunderland and London, UK. It is great news for students who aspire to pursue a foreign degree as this collaboration results in multiple benefits including the cost of education.

Delegations from University of Sunderland consisting of Mr. Matthew Gallagher, Manager, International Development Team, Mr. Lawrence, Dean, Business Management and Ms. Bhavna Bagga, India representative, University of Sunderland and MET Management Team deliberated and entered into this association.
