MET Trust and HR Department organized a refreshing and joy-filled retreat for MET & MRV Faculty and staff members on March 8, 2025, at Monteria Village. This rejuvenating getaway offered the perfect balance of relaxation, adventure, and team bonding, providing a much-needed break from the academic routine.

On 30th April 2025, under the guidance of MET Trustees, a movie screening initiative was organised by MET HR Department. MET Staff watched the movie, ‘Phule’, a biographical journey through the life of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule. A must watch inspiring film!

On 2nd March 2023, MET Institute of Software Development and Research in collaboration with TCS iON conferred on its students with a PGP in Data Science and Machine Learning certificates.

MET ISDR organised an Orientation Programme for the new batch of PGP in Data Science and Machine Learning..
The Orientation started with a Welcome address from Mr. Pankaj Bhujbal, Hon. Trustee, MET who explained the importance of Data Science and Machine Learning technologies and emphasised asking questions to learn in a better way.
Mr. Ashok Mane, Zonal Head – West, Higher Education Unit, TCS iON gave an overview of TCS iON Industry honor programme and described how programme’s structure helps to bridge the gap between Industry and academia.
Mr. Kiran Shinde, AVP - IT, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance presented real life case studies in Machine Learning and Data Science. He further demonstrated how ‘Exploratory Data Analysis’ helps in better decision making. Whereas Prof. Omprakash Mandge, Course Coordinator, MET ISDR, highlighted the need for staying focused to achieve defined goals.

MET celebrated Savitribai Phule Jayanti, the 190th birth anniversary of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule in the presence of Mr. Pankaj Bhujbal, Hon. Trustee – MET, MET Directors, Principals, HODs, faculty, and staff. A social reformer and revolutionary who still inspires millions, Savitribai Phule was a crusader for women empowerment as she broke all stereotypes and spent her life promoting the noble cause of women’s education.
