On 30th April 2024, we conducted a comprehensive Fire Drill Training session to equip our employees with the knowledge and skills needed to react swiftly and safely in the event of a fire emergency. Web Programming Training 2025

MET Institute of Information Technology recently concluded an intensive training programme on Web Programming, with a strong focus on React and NodeJS, essential frameworks for today’s web developers.
The 10-day training, which concluded on 22nd June 2025, covered HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, NodeJS, and React. Led by Mr. Jigar Pandya, Visiting Faculty.
The sessions featured 80+ hours of hands-on learning, real-world use cases, and project-based assignments, empowering students to build and deploy full-fledged web applications on AWS Instances.
Supported by Junaid Ansari and Chinmay Pradhan, Lab Faculty, MET, the training offered dedicated lab sessions, expert guidance, and practical demos throughout.

Health awareness workshop Thoda Gyaan, Thodi Muskaan

In today’s fast-paced and demanding lifestyle, it is essential to be aware of simple yet effective ways to care for our health.
On 26th September 2025, the MET HR Department organized a special health awareness workshop \"Thoda Gyaan, Thodi Muskaan\", designed to guide staff on handling medical emergencies and adopting preventive measures for overall well-being.
The session was conducted by renowned physician Dr. Tushar Shah, who combined practical health tips with lighthearted humor, making learning both insightful and engaging.
Through such initiatives, MET continues to prioritize the holistic welfare of its community.
Game-Based Learning in Action – Day 4 of FDP

MET CET successfully conducted an insightful workshop on “Game-Based Learning†on Day 4 of the ongoing 5-Day FDP Workshop Series, facilitated by Dr. Ajita Deshmukh.
The session encouraged MET teachers to explore unstructured teaching by designing games that were interactive, participatory, and enjoyable for students. It reinforced the belief that when learning feels like play, education becomes more engaging and impactful.
At MET, we continue to empower our faculty with innovative teaching methodologies that inspire both educators and learners.
Spring Boot Training Program

MET Institute of Information Technology organised an intensive training programme to equip students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in leading frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate - key technologies essential for today’s software professionals.
The training was conducted from 4th – 13th June 2025, covering a comprehensive module on Hibernate, Spring, and Spring Boot. The sessions were led by Mr. Rahul Barve, an Esteemed Industry Expert.
From the very first day, students were immersed in a real-world learning environment. Mr. Rahul Barve kickstarted the training with an insightful introduction and systematically broke down complex concepts using live demonstrations, case studies, and mini-projects.
The first three days focused on mastering JPA with Hibernate, ensuring a strong foundation for ORM in Java applications. This was followed by five days on Spring and Spring Boot, where the faculty covered Spring Core, MVC, AOP, REST, and Spring Security. Students built REST APIs and integrated Spring Security with a future vision to extend functionality using React.
What made this training exceptional was the 80+ hours of focused learning, real industry use cases and scenarios, assignments and deadlines executed in real-time under expert guidance, and dedicated lab support by Mr. Rahul Barve, supported by Mr. Junaid and Mr. Chinmay.
The training program concluded on 13th June equipping students with the practical skills and confidence required to develop real-time applications and succeed in today’s dynamic job market.
